The Role

We seek a Senior Data Test Analyst to design and implement data quality frameworks for clients. You will collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data testing solutions. Your role includes advising clients and promoting best practices in data testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Delivery and have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Design and build data quality frameworks and processes to validate integrity of data pipelines.
  • Apply professional testing methodologies, experiences, and principles to resolve data quality and integrity issues within data processes and solutions i.e. migration, ETL/ELT, data warehouses, business intelligence and reporting.
  • Use automation to deliver testing and perform various types of tests i.e. functional, integration, and load testing.
  • Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisions.
  • Define and execute strategies and best practices to ensure the quality of Data and Analytics Products.
  • Work in cross-functional teams with business users, stakeholders, developers etc.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, present solutions, and deliver outcomes.
About You

You’re a confident and collaborative data tester with data analytics skills. You have consulting experience, are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and solving complex challenges. You bring testing expertise in the data space, are willing to learn, and have a genuine interest in enabling better decision-making through trusted data.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in testing and data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with relational databases i.e. Oracle, SQL Server
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with cloud-based data platforms e.g. AWS Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ELT best practices.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools i.e. Power BI, Tableau.
  • Experience working in large complex data environments.
  • Experience working in agile squads.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Bonus Points

The following are not mandatory but would be viewed favourably.

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, MS Fabric, Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with Python, dbt.
